2. Booking and Payment

All bookings must be made through our official channels. Upon booking, you will be required to provide accurate and complete information. Payment for our services is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

2.2 Invoicing

3. Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances may change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancellations made 48 hours before the scheduled delivery will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before delivery may incur a cancellation fee.
No-shows without prior notice may result in additional charges.

Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking.

4. Usage Terms

Our skip hire services are intended for the disposal of general waste only. By using our services, you agree to adhere to the following usage terms:

The skip must not exceed the agreed-upon capacity.
Loading must be done safely to avoid damage during transportation.
The skip must remain on the designated property boundaries.
Access must be clear for the delivery and collection of the skip.

Failure to comply with these terms may result in additional charges or termination of service.

5. Prohibited Items

To ensure safety and compliance with regulations, the following items are strictly prohibited from being disposed of in our skips:

Hazardous materials, including chemicals, asbestos, and paints.
Perishable waste such as food scraps.
Electrical appliances with hazardous components.
Motor vehicles or parts.
Tyres exceeding 10cm in diameter.

Unauthorized disposal of prohibited items will result in additional fees and possible legal action.

6. Liability

Bermondsey Skip Hire is not liable for any damages or losses incurred during the use of our services, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. This includes, but is not limited to:

Damage to property during skip placement or removal.
Personal injury resulting from misuse of the skip.
Loss of personal items placed in or near the skip.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the placement of the skip does not obstruct public pathways or private property unnecessarily.

7. Insurance

We carry insurance to cover accidental damage to property caused by our skips during delivery or collection. However, this insurance does not cover damage caused by customer negligence or unauthorized use.

8. Maintenance and Damage

Customers must report any pre-existing damage to the skip upon delivery. Any damage incurred during the hire period due to misuse or overloading will be the financial responsibility of the customer.

Regular maintenance is conducted to ensure the skips are in good working condition. Customers are asked to report any issues immediately.

9. Private Container Return

If you are returning a private container, please ensure it is in the same condition as when it was delivered. Any discrepancies may result in additional charges.

10. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. We collect and use your personal information solely for the purpose of providing our services. We do not share your information with third parties unless required by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bermondsey Skip Hire operates. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.

12. Amendments to Terms

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Bermondsey Skip Hire harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of our services, including but not limited to violation of these Terms and Conditions.

18. Termination

Bermondsey Skip Hire reserves the right to terminate your booking without notice if you breach any part of these Terms and Conditions. In such cases, a pro-rata refund may be issued at our discretion.

19. Feedback and Complaints

20. Miscellaneous
